Gloria Estelle Stella is a Korean Swiss-Norwegian actor born in Oklahoma on July 19, 1984 and raised in Korea, Colorado and Georgia by her parents John and Sarah Meyer. She has an older brother, Joshua, a younger sister, Hannah and a younger brother, Ji-hoon.
At Evans High School, Gloria was involved in band, flag corps, business and art clubs. She never strayed into the acting world aside from a few church plays as a child and a short modeling class with her sister in junior high school. Gloria attended Augusta State University, where she majored in business with a focus on marketing.
At the age of 19, her father noticed that a local car dealership no longer had a television commercial spokesmodel and encouraged Gloria to look into it. After a few months, she called the owner of the dealership and inquired about the position. She was put through a couple auditions with several other girls and booked the job. So it was, she made her first camera debut in June 2003 as the spokesmodel for a car dealership on a local commercial.
Immediately afterwards, she began shooting local and regional commercials for various regions of the US and worked as a model for a few print projects. She first stepped foot on a film set as an extra on Bobby Jones: Stroke of Genius starring Jim Caviezel and Claire Forlani in late 2003.
She married Robert Stella in April 2004. While supporting herself with various administrative positions and pursuing an acting career, she also continued her schooling at Augusta State University, but this time as a Communications major with an emphasis on TV & Cinema.
In June 2005, she booked her first speaking role in an independent short and began working on several independent projects as talent and on the crew. Her first television moments can be seen on the Starz Entertainment reality tv series, Looking for Starz, in 2006. In February 2007, a national print campaign went out for Popeye's Restaurant.
Gloria relocated just north of Atlanta in 2007 where she now currently resides. She continues to work on various projects and training.
